Here's two more problems with this posting about guns:

3) The statistics are only for *accidental* deaths.  Why not compare
   statistics for *purposeful* deaths?

4) The statistics have nothing to do with endurance riding in any case. 
   I.e., this is NOT an appropriate discussion for Ridecamp.
