I'm not a doctor, but I can see at least two problems with this logic; 1) the majority of those doctors are probably practicing medicine as a full-time job.  Do the majority of gun owners practice and shoot their guns as full-time jobs, thereby increasing the probabilities of accidents?  I doubt if they even carry their guns half as much as doctors practice. 2) the victims of doctors are usually sick to start with.
