You won't hear Marv say it is natural horsemanship. He doesn't think
any horsemanship is "natural"...see...you guys agree. LOL And he's
pretty simple...he doesn't ask you to become a devoted follower
forsaking all others or to place your right hand on his book (he
doesn't have a book that I know of) and swear to do things his
way....in fact...he gives out the bonder technique for free. And he
has said a few times on his horses list that "bonder" wasn't even a
very good name for the technique as it implies something mystical and
complex, when it is really quite simple and based on a horse's innate
wiring. And round penning and NH techniques are not the same
thing...the former is just one aspect of the latter. Using the round
pen for this purpose is too simple to have to immerse yourself in
it...it is just a simple technique.....but you do need to try it with
an open mind before discounting it.
