RC: Firecrackers
>>Try firecrackers. Works on our dogs AND the neighbors. We tap
the>>window, tell them to hush, next bark BAM! They all go get in
their>>house. Pretty soon it just takes a tap on the window.

>Angie....what kind of NEIGHBORS do you have???
OOOps, a bit of a hurry there, unclear reference, etc. I meant the
neighbor's DOGS. We had neighbors with 2 Bassetts in a pen. They barked
constantly. The neighbors hadn't a clue what to do. We didn't want to
argue. Found that dropping a firecracker on *our* side of the property
line cause a nice "Silent Night". We have a neighbor now with a Beagle
that visits everyone within a mile eating their cat food, etc. It's
causing hard feelings, threats, etc. I suggested that they just take
everyone concerned some firecrackers and tell them how to use them. I
tried shooing the dog away, a kick only made him cower (and he's got such
sweet eyes), but a firecracker sent him right home with his tail tucked.
One warning, don't drop one in front of a fetching Lab!
