we had a situation locally a number of years ago where some horses died.
the only common factor is that they all had horse pellets from the same
local mill and it was decided that when mixing for this horse pellet there
was one ingredient from a sheep pellet that did not get totally cleared out
of the vats. it was the one ingredient that is deadly to horses, starts
with 'r' but i can't recall what it was.
