>But, how many of you bring your horse down to the >gathering? Not unusual. My favorite was a horse at the Witchdance ride one year when it was *really* cold and they had a big community campfire. This was a horse who'd gone off a cliff into a river once and spent the night by the fire with some backpackers. He'd learned all about fires. He stood facing the fire and I didn't notice him, but walked over and stood between him and the fire. He very politely sidestepped so that he could catch the heat again. I was surprised to see he wasn't tied, just standing there with his rope hanging. Then he turned as if to leave and I started to catch him, but the owner told me he was O.K. Turned out he was just turning around to warm his butt to the fire. :-) Angie ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
