Who would poison a cat?
>Unfortunately
>you may be (not you Angie, you the cat owner)
Fraid not. I had a great Australian Shephers who was a fantastic ratter,
but occassionally decided to eat her catch, so I never put out poison,
and the barn wasn't near enough to anyone else. Besides, I've had a dog
poisoned before, he was very thirsty, and it was painful. You can tell
when you find an animal that died in pain.
Fly bait such as Golden Malrin and other brands can kill your small animals.
They start foaming at the mouth first like a dog that has been playing
with a frog. One evening we put out fly bait and a little while later
my dog was foaming. I thought he had been playing with a frog but afew
hours later he was dead. I also did in some coons that kept
getting into my feed room and tearing everything up. I had sprinkled some
on the floor because fire ants took the feed room over and that was all
I had. The coons came that night and licked it up. Worked on fire ants
too.
