Slide-in Camper vs. Gooseneck
Well, now that y'all have pretty much beaten motor homes to death, how
about campers? The pickup/slide-in camper/bumper pull combo seems to be
the "rig d'rigeuer" in the West...although more and more goosenecks are
showing up. What works best in the West? Are you camper people happy, or
are you all lusting after goosenecks? Anyone using a pop-up, slide-in
camper? The truck to be used is a Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. We've been
advised that the max payload weight for the truck bed is around 2500 lb.
while the tow capacity of the truck is 10,000 lb. Thanks for your input!
Bobbie (there's a camper show this weekend in Anaheim....)
April (I don't care where you sleep, just get my Trailor Tie put on!)
