Re: eating green pine needles
Hi, talked to the vet's office just a little bit ago. There
were 2 horses that died last year. Symptoms were like
colic. The vet is Meg Brinton of Ridgefield, Wa. The chips
were from yard debris and along roads/power lines and the
horse's owners were using it for mud control. The horses
died pretty quickly. (Ornamental Yew needles and wood chips
were found to be the cause.)
