Yeah, the chlorine bleach. Actually I really use the cheap stuff, not actual
clorox brand. I've used it on lots of different horses with no problem, but
perhaps if your horse has ultra sensitive skin you should try a little spot
first, or a more dilute solution. If it has huge raw spots the bleach would
also be pretty painful so you might want to try something else this time.
I put the solution in a water bottle & squirt a little on any suspicious
spots as soon as they appear & rub it in good.
I hope you don't mind I'm posting this more detailed explaination to the
list, too.
