That seems to be the case--many "city people" equate horses with dogs
because that has been their only experience with animals I guess. Speaking
of dogs, I was trotting along the road this evening on Dez who doesn't even
flick an ear toward traffic as a rule, but this time a truck passed us with
a dog (BIG dog) barking his head off right beside us, and I don't know who
jumped the biggest--Dez or me!
