I forgot to mention that I got really worried at first and did a lot of
checking for tenderness etc. He seemed completely unbothered by this
"scurfing." So, I just decided to keep going the way we were, but to keep a
close eye on it. No tenderness ever developed and it went away within about
two weeks or so.
