NOTHING (that I know of) in the AERC rules states it MUST be this way...yet it
has become THE way to "do it".
Try doing it YOUR way..have your pulse taken, then go rest yourself and your
horse...see what happens. IF someone object, ask where it is in the rules. IF
it is NOT in AERC rules already, the ride management MUST put it in WRITING
BEFORE that start of the ride and give it to EVERYONE, or it is NOT valid....
