My mother tried the marathon shoes.  They tore her horses feet up.  We are 
from the NE and attended a rocky ride, they are supposed to last for 2 
resets, they (Julie Brokaw and S.H. Kais) ate them up after 31 miles.  she 
pulled the shoes and her horse.  The shoes seemed to move to much, they 
worked the nails holes and really ate the hoof up.
