Thank you to all who responded on the question about the use of Chondroitin
Sulphate. I am afraid I neglected to mention that I am in Western Australia,
so some of the contact numbers etc. are not going to be all that accessible,
but I am taking on board all suggestions and will be asking my vet about
where I can get CS and also the Adequan injections. Mum is wrapt, can't
believe I could get such a response from the other side of the world-such a
caring, sharing group you all are :) !!! As for her horse, Quest, he says a
big thank you too, instead of being a stiff old pasture potato, he can get
out there with all those young fillies! I am actually wondering if this may
be good for my mare, Pandora, who you may remember had a fall uphill
recently. Her swelling is way down, but in lieu of future problems, this may
well help keep those knee joints comfortable. I just need to find out if
it's swabbable over here to use it myself, although they don't swab
polocrosse horses, so Mum's horse will be OK.
Happy trails,
Carol and Pandora (who's knee is feeling much better and is looking forward
to an outing on the coast)
