<< Third- I've read in the archives about using Adequan but no mention of
Legend. When I was doing dressage, I used Flex Free successfully for
awhile then needed to do something different for those hocks. The vet
recommended Legend, and it was expensive, but that was a year ago and
I've had no further hock problems. I don't know if it was the Legend or
a switch in careers that did the trick. Dressage is hard on the hocks
but my mare has done fine so far with limited distances. >>

We've found Legend to be effective, too. This is IM hyaluronic acid. As to
which is more effective, Legend or Adequan, don't have an opinion yet, but
our trainer is leaning increasingly to Legend.
