Oh good, Karen did the Skito question and Tom did the speed one, so I'll
take dibs on this one. No, hardening of the arteries and heart disease
is associated with saturated fats, which are found almost exclusively in
meat, dairy and egg products. Vegetable oils are high in unsaturated
fats, which have either a neutral or cholesterol-lowering effect on
blood lipid profiles. No risk of heart disease.
