Actually the great William Shatner recommened this to Patrick Stewert for
the filming of Star Trek TNG's first movie. He even said this on National
Television. Well if the "macho" guys of Star Trek were pantyhose why not
other guys. Apparently William Shatner even wears them while showing his
horses.
