I hae ALWAYS disagreed in these situations. The suffering of the animal DOES
NOT warrant the suffering of the owner. Another froiend spent a FORTUNE
keeping a mare alive that the vets had little or no hope for..a rare malody
that there was no known treatment for. The mare died horribly and the
insurance company paid, but it was less than the bills and cannot compensate
for the suffering.
Without a doubt, I would find a another vet...and after payoff, anothe
rinsurance company. READ the fine print and get their policy straight in
YOUR mind before taking on ANY insurance company.
