Tina, you should get at least a Coggins to take with you when crossing
state lines. Here in Mo. we need a Coggins for any in state event. Most
states require a one year Coggins but some states want 6 months.
Also you do need to check with your vet to find out if you need
health papers for going out of State. Your vets have a listing. You can
also call your state Dept. of Agriculture.
I personally was stopped unexpectedly in Oklahoma while hauling
back to Mo. from Arizona. The Agricultural inspection men were nice but
very thorough. Luckily all of our Papers were in order. I really do
take all of these rules seriously as do the people enforcing them
