I am!!! I can't wait to meet you, Kimberly!!! Lets hope the weather here
is as nice next weekend as it is today - it couldn't be more perfect.

I'm coming from Gardnerville, Nevada - just south of Washoe Valley on Hwy 395.

Heres a question for some of you experienced with easy boots - I've been
told the first half of the 50 at the Washoe ride is quite rocky - therefore,
I would like to put easy boots on my horses front feet just for this ride.
I have some of that easy foam stuff, though haven't used it yet. Today I
rode my horse in the easy boots with vet wrap around his heels. That seemed
to work well, we didn't lose any shoes, but we did get a lot of sand and
dirt in the shoe when I took them off. I'm sure the easy-foam will keep
this from happening - but I didn't want to practice with that stuff until I
was sure the easy boots wouldn't bother his heels or anything. Is that
something I need to worry about - his heels being rubbed from the easy boot
strap? I don't want to create a new problem if at all possible. I know
that if the boots to cause a rubbing problem that I will have a hard time
getting them off if I've used that foam stuff. I would appreciate hearing
some of your experiences with this subject. Thank you!!
