I am currently feeding Equine Senior to my 21 year old mare. My vet
told me about LMF (Prime Time Horse), and said I ought to consider it.
My understanding is that in addition to there being different formulas...
(Equine Super Supplement, Development Concentrate and High Fat Race),
different formulas were made for different areas?? In other words, what I
buy here in Northern California, will be different than what folks
would buy elsewhere. On the front of the brochure given to me it says,
"Senior Horse Feeds formulated IN and FOR the West Coast". You
feed Formula A, when the forage consists of 50% of more alfalfa
and Formula G when the forage consists of more than 50% grass or oat.
You should not feed any additional source of selenium with any LMF
Horse feed. This information came from the brochure. The phone number
for LMF Feeds in 509-276-6018.
