Nope-I've got leather on mine and in the wash it goes. Lay it out to 
dry and you'll be fine. I do try to do all my stuff in one load, so as 
to not distress the hubby too much. I don't think he likes finding tack 
in the washer and dishwasher, but they get so nice and clean in there:)
