Are there any higher weight rated extender bars? Sorry not to clip more of post but all info relevant....I had Dodge one ton....and also had that same hitch with extension bar....also I believe on 24"length....I was towing a 5 horse aluminum trailer that I guessed might be approaching 10,000 lbs. when loaded with 5 horses, and hay for a week and water..etc... I got a Husky weight distribution hitch with added bars, which made me able to safely tow $10,000. Would not have felt safe without it....and it was very easy to hitch and unhitch. Now that I have a gooseneck, it is for sale if you are interested....
