[RC] Choke and The Horse Article - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Sheila Larsen Sheila_Larsen@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I read the article and laughed out loud because I had just read Susan Garlinghouse's post about choke. Susan said calling a vet out on an emergency call for choke lines the vet's pocket because most chokes resolves itself. The article also picked probably one of the few types of choke that may not resolve by leaving it alone, - a chunk of apple! They didn't really talk about other types of choke in any detail, they just made it sound that if you didn't call the emergency vet your horse would be in big trouble which in most cases is probably not true. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
