It will be interesting to see what the FEI decides with respect to the
location of the WEG for 2010 since Dubai is one of the locations that is
bidding for it.  So we may see another like this again in a few year's
time.

Certainly, this suggests that the Organizing Committee in Dubai cannot
be trusted to follow proper FEI procedures; although, they may be better
trusted for the other equine sports in which they do not have such an
overriding interest in the outcome.

The other two locations bidding for the WEG in 2010 are Kentucky and
Normandy.

If they are held in Kentucky, then US people will have a chance to show
whether they can do better at putting on a World Championship for
endurance.

So it may happen sooner than you think.
