[RC] Mystery front end lameness & hock injections Part II - Claire Nystrom

Thank you so much to everyone who has responded, I am learning so much
more and it is all thanks to everyone here who is sharing their
knowledge.
The vet came again today, and ultrasounded the front and there is no
high suspensory injury as she suspected. She now thinks the horse's
hocks are sore because she has been asked to do more than she's ready
for (what I've thought from day one). She recommended that my friend
take her for walks on the trail for a while and do less ring work. I
am going to take my boyfriends quiet QH with her tomorrow, as her mare
is not really a trail horse and he is good at ignoring other horses
when they act silly. The vet did say, that the horse will probably be
on and off lame again and just to give her a few days rest if she
seems off again. I'm not sure that this is the best answer, but the
situation is not under my control, so all I can do is observe and do
some research about it so I can better understand the dynamics at
play.
Thank you again everyone!!!!
Claire
