I ride in Carousels which are custom ordered in
nylon/lycra [not cotton/lycra]. I get the seat padding and the knee padding,
although I think I would skip the inside padding and maybe just get an outside
knee patch from now on. I also like the Irideons. Both are great at drying very
quickly which is good for rain, sponging, water trough splashing,
etc.
Hello there all! Just a quick question on riding tights. I am accustomed
to riding in my jeans during the colder months and my running shorts in
the warmer months. I have participated in Ride and Ties, where I am
ver comfortable riding in shorts. However, I am hopefully going to do my
first LD event this year and my increased saddle time has made me realize I
want to invest in some tights for the transition seasons (spring and fall).I
am looking for a tight that will be both comfortable and functional. I know
everyone will have a favorite, but I would like some that sit below the
natural waist, but no so low that my you know what hangs out. I have
heard Boink puts out some good products. So let the suggestions begin. Feel
free to just e-mail me if this has been a hot topic I missed before.
