There is a mall like a couple miles from Dawson Forest and at least one motel there. Horsetown on Shallowford road is the closest, which is off Hwy.5 in Woodstock.You can get to it from 575 at exit 4, Wooodstock.(I believe)Then go north to hwy. 5 (1st major intersection about 1/2 m.-1 mile. near the Walmart.Then right about 2 miles or so (think it's the second light ,then about another mile on left. .Probably an hour or hour and 1/2 from Dawson forest, Depending on how you go and the traffic(it's off 400).
