I was the original poster on this one.
Apparently my son picked up the lovescan virus thru the
Internet. I could not get on for very long.
He heard about this virus on the news right after I started having
trouble.  I went into my computer and asked it to restore my
hard disk to an earlier date. This allowed me to get on line long enough
to down load McAffee on-line virus scan. We ran a scan on the puter
and sure enough McAffee found this "worm" and deleted it.
My question to you Mike or any of the other puter geeks(I love you all
so!) out there  is
Do I need to do anything further? (like manually delete anything?) Should
I download the patch from
Microsoft?
