[RC] Second multiday statistical analysis - Truman PrevattOn request the multiday day vs. single day rides were analyzed again using a different criteria for inclusion in the multiday category. In a previous analysis ride times of horses that did two or more days in a pioneer ride were compared with single day ride times. There was some concern that the "two or more day" criteria did not reflect the multiday riders. In this analysis only horses that completed ALL days in a pioneer ride were considered. In a nutshell, the results turned out to be almost identical to the first analysis. The multiday riders ( defined by finishing all days of a pioneer ride) were going about 4.2% faster (6.95 vs. 6.68 mph) on the average than their counterparts in single day rides.
