In response to: "eliminates more riders than you might 
realize from being members."

Actually - they are certainly members under the new bylaws. 
 The only restriction was that they were not voting members.

They have all the other attributes of membership including 
the ability to be nominated for awards.

I also strongly support approval of the change.
