Re: [RC] Funny Gaits - Jackie WinklemanI've got a mare with a funny gait also. She stretches her back legs way out (to the back) when she trots out. Sometimes I have to trot her out two or three times at vet checks! She's not lame, just her way of going. I think he had higher knee action, the way he was bred, and has learned to stretch out and trot now that he is 17. He looks the same before a 50 and after ( sound ) but, it is a bit frustrating to explain. One vet gave me an "A" for gait. She said it was a weird gait, but an A gait. A friend of mine says I should carry a note with me from vet check to vet check. I just might !!! - Heidi Helly and Bur Echos Knight ( the rolly one ! ) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
