RE: [RC] RC dandruffy mane and tail on endurance prospect - Deanna German

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my coming 4 year potentially gorgeous dappled
buckskin half Arab has rubbed out half of her tail and make due to itchy
dandruffy skin.? Vet reccomended betadine type shampoo or Head and Shoulders at
it was some sort of fungus.
Two weeks of doing this, not much improvement.? Any ideas what to try?? This is
northern Calif, no damp right now, no bugs.

Thing is, betadine is very drying which seems to me that it would only make
the problem worse. I've done the betadine thing for weeks with no
improvement. What worked for me was T-Zon by Healing Tree products. It's a
Tea Tree oil based product that is a lotion. It's not drying. It also has
cortizone in it to sooth the itch.

It's a little spendy, but you don't have to use much with each application.
It works!
