[RC] delicate question - Ed Kilpatrickhi there, there are several types of athletic underwear available. i prefer the brief type. you can find them at most sporting goods sections of you favorite department store. this underwear does for guys what the sport bras do for gals, just snugs things up! and since you are talking about a first time distance rider, he probably doesnt want to be caught dead in spandex! just tell him, REAL MEN WEAR IT! so these athletic underwear work fine under jeans! in cold weather, spandex riding pants under jeans will do the same thing. tell him to spend lots of time riding, learn to keep your heels down and the weight on the balls of your feet, not the other ones! ed Do you Yahoo!?
