Practice!  You learn proper riding and posting real fast.

Actually, I'm not sure why, but it just doesn't seem to happen very often,
that or men are real quiet about it.

my husband has just agreed to accompany me on my first LD, hurray--so
now I have to condition HIM :)

what he wants to know (but doesn't know I'm asking) is--how do the male
riders keep from "racking" themselves on the saddle? I have no good
answers since I don't have those parts in question ... <grin>

any help much appreciated! a happy husband is a possible repeat rider
