Anyways, when they were thirsty they would drink, even from a mud puddle.
They're not that dumb and stubborn. When they need water, they will
drink.

Unfortunately, the picky ones can get pretty darn
dehydrated before they will drink, and that can be much to their
detriment. I agree with the original poster that if she has a picky
drinker, she should make some effort to teach the horse to drink before getting
him into a situation where the dehydration could cause him
problems.
