Re: [RC] Attn: Vets Strongid C question - Heidi SmithA friend of mine bought a tub of Strongid C 2X, thinking that it was a wormer like a paste wormer. My understanding is that Strongid C is something to be given on a daily basis rather than in one shot like our usual wormers. In Egypt, where these things are imported at a high exchange rate, Strongid C really isn't a viable product, especially for my friend who has a barn with 7 horses, 2 of which are European and enormous in size. Can Strongid C be used in a one shot way? She has a tub and doesn't want to waste it. No, it is of no use as a one-shot dewormer. If she doesn't want to waste it, have her use it on babies and youngsters only, if she has any.
