Re: [RC] Not all boarding sucks!! - DESERTRYDR1Your right. I found the best boarding situation in the whole world. The gal had five acres, with small corrals, and sheds, and an arena and round pen, and the rest in pasture. She taught me more about caring for horses than anyone I have met before or since. Then she moved, and couldn't board anymore. DARN. The place I'm at now is a lot less. But I just make up for it by doing more of the care myself. Forgot to mention that the first gal did full care. But I was often out there shoveling manure, feeding, or other stuff. I just consider it my work out time. Build strong muscles the easy way! Also I have found that a boarder who is willing to help out now and then gets a lot more privileges than one who shows up once a month to pay the bill or only shows up to complain. I always figure if the care is not all I would like it to be, maybe I can teach the people who own the stable something by example. jeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
