ALWAYS! ALWAYS! ALWAYS! make your wishes known *IN
WRITING* and make sure your family and lawyer know
where your will is located.
Your animals care will need to be spelled out. What
happens if you and your husband die together? Someone
will have to know what to do with the horses.
You need to make out a will, put your finances in a
trust, and write a letter to those you will your
horses to and let them know of your decision. Have a
contengency plan in case that person has already
passed or doesn't want the horse.
One of my friends had cancer and had everything worked
out as to her horses. We don't always have that kind
of fore-warning so make your wished known NOW and in
writing.
I hope you're just curious and everything is ok with you.
