dark horses & heat

Mystery is approx. 1150 pounds (last time I weighted him), 16 hands tall 
(and yes, he really is that tall) and a dark bay.  His resting rate is 38.  
He comes down fairly fast but part of that is due to his mild attitude...he 
doesn't get all hyped and upset like some of the pure arabs.  He does go 
better in cooler weather and he takes longer to really warm up.  But, I 
don't know if he is 'thick' as a standardbred, he is more TB like.

p.s. plus, we don't have to deal with humidity like Truman does in FLA...
