Re: RC: Horse flies

This reply comes to you from Norco, California, which is the fly capitol
of the USA. In fact, the official city bird is the fly. No jive! We
have a people population of about 15,000, and a verified horse population
of over 30,000. Our flies are so well fed that the birds have a Weight
Watchers Chapter right here in town.

Anyway, most of us use Larry's Citronella and/or Avon Skin-So-Soft to
handle that problem. Never saw a bug that liked the Avon stuff, if you
apply it generously, and if you carry a spare spray bottle with to
refresh it during the ride.

Hope this helps, although I realize that those Texas flies are not wimpy,
flaky guys like the California ones. Ours are slow and laid back; yours
die with their boots on.
