National Championship of France and Pre-selection for 7&8 year old horses for World Young Horse Championship (Compienge) - Three days of Equestrian Endurance Festivals provide the context for the 2007 National Championship of France. During three days, the small village of Ribiers, in the south east of France at the beginning of the French ALPS is hosting the French championship CEI** with a list of entries of 149 riders to participate. This CEI** French championship open to “novice riders” in contrast to the CEI*** event to be “experimented”, held on 14th of July).
More than 200 riders are expected with a Brazilian, Spanish and American representation. A pre-selection ride will be held for Compiègne world championship for 7&8 years old horses. (Four pre-selection rides are organized in the territory), in the same track but in a different category, a CEN* open to all horses/riders. (CEN= National endurance ride).
On Thursday 17th of May was held in the small village of Ribiers (FRANCE), one of the four pre-selection for the 7&8 years old endurance horses for the coming world championship 7&8 years old endurance horse in Compiegne. (26th of August 2007). 54 horses started the 90 km CEN* ride at 8.00 am with 54 horses in 7&8 pre-selection category and 19 in the CEN*.These pre-selection ride is organised bellow a specific rule, to protect the young horse welfare and in the same time to detect the novice champion to come…
