This years Rambouillet race initiates the selection series for the French team which will compete at the European Championships in Barroca d' Alva, in Portugal, next September 8. The international CEI*** competition was held at the hippodrome of Villeneuve. Sponsored by Endro Cheval, this race focused on the skills of the best French riders and horses.

A course of 160 kilometers divided into six successive loops drawn through plain, valley and forest. A first loop of 30 kilometers takes the competitors to Vaux of Cernay, in valley of Chevreuse. As they return to the hippodrome, they will set out again then in direction of Boissière École before joining Saint-Lucien, 23 km further. The 4th loop, they will take this time the Saint-Benoît cheese direction for then finishing a last loop of 20 km before the final arrival with the hippodrome where the results will be proclaimed, the organizers of this marathon with horse detail.
