1998 United States Endurance Team Organizational and Business Sponsors

      USET: They are supplying critical supplemental team funding and our director for endurance, Mary Lutz has handled the lion's share of team planning and coordination.

      AERC International: We are coordinating the USA volunteers going to the World Championships to man the all important USA Support Team that provides supplemental crewing and mans the on trail team aid stations. AERC International will also sponsor in part the post ride thank you and farewell dinner for the USA contingent.

      Saddle Bums: Once again our USA squad members will be attired in Saddle Bums Gold Medal racing tights and ceremonial tights courtesy of Stan and Diana Dill.

      Ariat: First class riding boots for comfort and ruggedness. Ariat will be supplying our team with boots.

      Troxel Helmets: Our riders will receive maximum protection in optimal style with Troxel's All American helmet.

      Go the Distance: Dominique Freeman is once again supplying our team with beautiful red, white, and blue, bridle and breast collar sets for ceremonial and competition use.

      VMAXEPT: Roger Rittenhouse a long time supporter of FEI team competition will be traveling to the World Championships to crew for the team and have on site spare parts and accessories for our rider's heart monitors. This race promises to be closely contested so seconds will count and will be gained through the reliable VMAX.

      ENDURANCE NET: Owner and provider Steph Teeter has set up an email forum (listserve) for our USA team members. This handy method of communication is building team camaraderie, providing split second communication, and facilitating team planning more than any other tool at our disposal. A HUGE advantage gained, Thank you Steph!!

      TAYLORED PROMOTIONS: Larry and Amanda Taylor owners of Taylored Promotions are coordinating the team uniforms for the USET and the AERC's USA Support Team. They offer friendly service and promotional products at very competitive prices.

      HARTWELL SPORTS: Fifty art deco red, white and blue polo shirts donated by Hartwell Sports will make our on-trail road crews stand out in the crowd on race day. Over 200 horses may be competing. Figure 10 people for every horse/rider team. Wow!
