Spooky Arabs
Hi Ya'll,
My personal experience is that spookiness tends to be directly related to
things like A: Experience around the spooky things, B: How they were raised
and in one particular case : poor eyesight. Out of six arabs that started
out spooky, after lots of wet saddleblankets working cattle, etc only one
remained a chronic spooker. He was moonblind and had tunnel vision in one
eye and limited vision in the other. Of course he was my favorite... This
has also been my experience with QH's, thoroughbreds and other breeds. One
exception though is the very fit horse that is fresh and full of
YEEE-HAAAA! Arabs do seem to particularly enjoy this...
