Hi all ... I am new to this and so is my horse. We are currently
conditioning ourselves to start doing the shorter rides ... I have
lots of questions, but this "Best Condition" is bugging me. Does
the weight of the rider play a large part of this? Does the weight
include tack? The reason I am asking is not that we are anywhere
close to it (let alone finishing), but when we do get to that point,
are we going to get penalized heavily because I am not that big?
With tack and everything, I still fall into this "featherweight"
catagory (using a barrel racing saddle).
Also, is anyone out there using a gaited horse for this?
