Ivermectin
BEWARE!
Injectable Ivermectin is a risk. It was taken off the market years ago,
because too many horses died (including one of mine). The cattle injectable
also contains proplene glycol, which is in itself dangerous to inject into
horses.
The variability of kill of external parasites by Ivermectin is not
related to its manner of administration. It is related to the percentage of
time that the parasite spends feeding. I invite someone else to speak on
any research done on tick killing.
