Much of that "dialog" came about because several horses had "problems" this
year in Distance Competition.
I am sure if you get involved with the sport AND continue to follow the
Ridecamp
posts, you will find that majority of the participants are concerned with
the horse's
well being. The most experienced participants depend on conditioning and the
knowledge of their mount.
I am relatively new to the sport and was initially concerned about all the
"stuff".
We have done well following a policy of "less is best". I don't give my
Arab
anything unless his need has been established. He does get daily selenium
with
vitamin E and electrolytes during competition.
