My gelding, Jordan, is Egyptian on the top half (the most prominent

showing up all over. He'll be 23 in April and shows no signs of his age

than he's white (actually fleabit grey) and has a touch of arthritis in the

Not a very complete one, but enough to make one think that is a worthy topic.
And yes, there seem to be differences--not only for general "groups" of
bloodlines but also more noticeably among specific lines within groups. The
Abu Farwa horses are notoriously long-lived. (Ga'Zi, BTW, was a CMK horse
and a son of Abu Farwa himself--I don't think the Egyptian folks would claim
him...)
